Junior Sous Chef

With bags of personality and enthusiasm, your talent is in communicating well and working as part of a team and as a leader in Head Chef’s absence. You will have a passion for delivering outstanding food and memorable customer experiences.

The right person:

  • Has experience working within professional kitchens
  • Has seasonal and local food knowledge
  • Is dynamic, charismatic, with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong communication skills

Our Sous Chefs are involved in a range of duties including:

  • Fresh food preparation
  • Embracing our food culture and designing regularly changing menus
  • Setting and reviewing GPs
  • Ordering
  • Stock control
  • Meeting food safety and cleaning standards

Working with completely fresh produce, the Sous Chef will be a key member of the kitchen team.
If you are a Sous Chef who is approachable, friendly and loves food and local ingredients then this is the role for you.

Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for an efficient kitchen porter to join our friendly team. They will be expected to clean and organise crockery, cutlery and other goods in the wash-up areas, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, with pots and pans cleaned, maintained and ready for the chefs use.

GlassHouse Manager

We have an exciting opportunity available for a GlassHouse Manager to join our friendly team. You’ll have the chance to shine, contribute to our successes and make guests’ day through your sparkling service.

With bags of personality and enthusiasm, your talent is in communicating well, organising the floor and working as part of a team. You will have a passion for delivering outstanding and memorable customer experiences.

We’ll train you up until you speak fluent Salutation Inn and can share your knowledge of our well-renowned food and drink.

The right person:
– Has experience working within the hospitality environment
– Has barista experience
– Has exceptional customer service skills, high standards and excellent attention to detail
– Is dynamic, charismatic, with a can-do attitude and loves people
– Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner

The role is full time permanent basis of approx 40 hours per week. This will be mostly day time, with occasional evenings and will be rotated on a weekly basis. We aim to write rotas 2 -3 weeks in advance.

Please note, we do not have live-in accommodation available for staff.
