Tom's Table Coronavirus Pandemic
Gin lovers unite – there’s a huge Gin Festival taking place around the bars and cafes of Topsham between 24 – 26th August, during the Bank Holiday.
For an entry fee of £6.50, you’ll receive a map of Topsham, wristband and a sample of different gin at ten venues across the town.
We will be showcasing the multi award-winning versatile and smooth Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point.’ Citrusy and floral on the nose, on the palate the earthy, resinous notes of juniper combine with warming, spiced citrus. A fruity, peppery heat from cubeb pepper mingles with the warmth of cinnamon, descending into a finish lengthened by green cardamom.
The gin festival will present unusual flavour combinations to tastings and even gin cakes, so you’ll be a gin aficionado by the end of the weekend. There will also be some local craft beers on sale, as well as various wines available en route.
The event will be held over the August bank holiday weekend so visitors can even come back to finish off the route if they don’t complete it in one day.
25% of the profits will be going to Love Topsham to support their mission to help Topsham stay vibrant and attractive for residents, visitors and businesses alike, and to inspire a true feeling of community spirit in the town.
